In the 2017-2018, we worked with Polish and Roma students of Primary School No. 26 in Poznań on the artistic and educational project "Once Upon a Time...".

The project had integration goals, Roma children, having an individual mode of teaching, could meet their school colleagues in creative work. They were accompanied by Roma education assistants.
Based on Polish and Roma legends, we prepared the performance during theatre, art, music and dance classes, during which, together with children, history was invented, costumes and scenography were prepared.
The performance, led by the narrator – a storyteller, with live music, partly played by children, songs and dances is interactive and invites the audience to play. It tells the story of the journey of children from the Happy Land in search of the sun and the adventures that happen to them along the way.
The performance "Once upona Time..." It was played four times in Primary School No. 26 in Poznań, including on the occasion of the International Roma Day, in CK Zamek in Poznań, in ODK Pod Lipami in Poznań on the occasion of the International Roma Day and at the International Ethno Port Festival in CK Zamek in Poznań. The Roma community was also invited to the performances. All shows were very warmly received.
